Obituary

Hill, NH----Karen Ann Hildreth 62, of Ferrin Street died suddenly Monday, September 11, 2017.
Karen was born on March 5, 1955 at Camp Kilmer, Edison Township, New Jersey daughter to Alfred Sr. and Patricia (Hopper) Domenech. Karen was a military Brat, growing up in New Jersey, France, Germany, Puerto Rico and New Hampshire. She worked for the State of New Hampshire for 32 years working in Health and Human services. Karen worked as a Juvenile Parole and Probation Officer in the Division of Child, Youth and Family services, Policy Writing, Business Administration and Systems Analyst, Office Manager, among other positions over the course of her career till she retired in 2011. She was full time employed by Kay’s Jewelers at the time of her death.
Karen graduated from Nashua High School in 1973, she was an alumni of Ricker College in Houlton, Maine where she pledged Kappa Beta Fraternity, and graduating from Rivier College in Nashua, NH in 1977.
She was a devout Catholic and active member at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Franklin, NH.
She lived life with unlimited compassion, living every moment to its fullest and handling everything with a take charge attitude. She loved life. She loved her friends. And she loved her husband and family most.
Karen was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt and friend to her family and friends. Karen enjoyed riding her motorcycle, with her husband, her son and her friends. Throughout the summer months she and her husband and other motorcycle enthusiasts would gather in Bristol each Thursday evening for “Bike Night” for a couple hours and just to swap stories. She also enjoyed scrap booking, traveling and trying and finding new things to do. Karen also collected watches, art and Disney memorabilia. Some of her fondest memories were spent vacationing at the Samoset Resort, in Maine with her husband and son, and watching her grandchildren play hockey, football and baseball.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Michael Hildreth of Hill; her father, Alfred Domenech Sr. and his wife, Saundra of Desert Hot Springs, CA; two sons, Alex Hildreth of Hill and Gregory Hildreth of Raymond; three daughters; Shannon DuBreuil and her husband, Matthew of Franklin, Jennifer Hildreth of Mankato, MN and Kathleen Ward and her husband, Edward of Copperas Cove, TX; four grandchildren, Dominic, Dylan, Aidan and Mason; four brothers, Alfred Domenech Jr. of NY, Kevin Domenech and his wife, Kimmie of Nashua, Keith Domenech of Hudson and Kenny Domenech of Desert Hot Springs, CA; a sister, Lisa Yanco and her husband, Stephen of The Villages, FL; a step brother, Jerald Wilson and his wife Christine in CA; four step sisters, Robin Huffered and her husband, Bradley of IN, Shelia Lutzker and her husband, Tom, Susan Miller and her husband, Eric, and Penny Kaysen and her husband Greg all of CA and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother, Patricia Hopper Domenech.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, September, 19, 2017 from 4:00pm- 7:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Andre Bessette parish - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH.
Burial will follow in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
In lieu of flowers and for those who wish, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to Wilkinson-Beane Inc. P.O. Box 67, Laconia, NH 03247-0067 to help defray funeral costs.
