BUXTON - Albert “Jerry” G. Tweedie, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family and friends on Sept. 14, 2017.
He was born in Portland, on Sept. 10, 1950, the son of the late George and Gwendolyn (Watt) Tweedie, and graduated from Thornton Academy.
For many years, he was employed as an inspector at Maremont and Rich Tool & Die. Jerry was also a member of the Lions Club. He enjoyed motorcycling, boating and being with his grandchildren, family and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed gatherings at the pond entertaining family and friends with favorite foods..
He is survived by the love of his life for 34 years - Phyllis (Kimball) Tarbox; stepchildren - Laura Orcutt, Wanda Tarbox (husband Russ Dill), and Anne Tarbox; sister- Terry Lee Huntley (husband Dick Thuotte); and grandchildren- Brian Dill and Peyton Dill; nephew Larry Huntley (wife Michelle) and their son Erik; and his beloved dog and companion Rex.
