Obituary

Romeo Morin, 82, of Berlin, passed away on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at his home. He was born in Berlin on April 12, 1935 the son of Edward and Cecile (Therriault) Morin and was a lifelong resident. He was a US Army Veteran and had been employed as a mechanic for Laroche Chevrolet, Glen Motors, Patenaude Motors and McLaughlin Chevrolet. Romeo was a member of the White Mountain Ridge Runners and enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, going to camp, woodworking and working in his beautiful garden. He had volunteered for many years at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop.

Family includes his wife Jacqueline (Guilmette) Morin of Berlin; sons Claude Morin and wife Ann Marie of West Milan and Paul Morin and wife Lisa of Berlin; step children Diane Light of Wisconsin, Eugene Marois and wife Rita of Berlin, Donald Marois of Oxford, ME and David Marois and wife Lynda of Berlin; siblings Anita Morin of Berlin, Robert Morin and wife Zanita of Milan and Lorette Fecteau and husband Richard of Berlin; grandchildren Mary Davis and husband Travis of Berlin, Abigail Morin of West Milan, Melanie Morin of Berlin and Matthew Morin of Berlin; many step-grandchildren and step- great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Priscilla (Gallant) Morin in 1977.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday September 18, 2017 at 1 PM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Russian City Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Monday from 10:30 to 12:30, prior to the service. Donations in his memory may be made to the Mother Marie Rivier Food Pantry, 151 Emery St., Berlin, NH, 03570 or to the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop, 153 Grafton St., Berlin, NH, 03570.
