Mildred P. “Mickey” Farmer, 92, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2017.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:15 PM on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Healy serving as celebrant. Interment to follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Mickey worked for over 35 years at the King Mill. She was a longtime member of Most Holy Trinity where she enjoyed baking and cooking for church events. Mildred P. Farmer was a good mother to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be missed dearly.
Mickey is survived by her daughters, Paulette F. Fulghum (Jack N. Fulghum, Jr.), and Evette M. Snead (Neytric D. Snead); her grandchildren, Robert Powell (Mimi), Pat Powell (Suzie), Jack Fulghum, III (Kelly), Donnie Jamison, Marie Anderson (Brandon), and David Lanier; and by her 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Powell; and her sister, Juliette Dorn.

A vigil for the deceased will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday evening, September 14, 2017 at the funeral home. The family will receive friends following the vigil until 7:00 PM.
