Passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2017. Preceded in death by grandparents Richard & Lorraine Pearson. Survived by parents Dennis & Pat; brother Andrew; grandparents John & Gerda Saunders; girlfriend Chey Jantz; many relatives, friends & special dog, Boyd. Sam loved nature, the outdoors & had a big heart for helping people. Memorial service Thursday (9/14) 2:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Appalachia Service Project or Second Harvest Heartland.
