Jack L. Mildon, 78, of Ojai, passed away at his home on Friday, September 8, 2017 with his loving family at his side.
Jack was born: May 8, 1939 in Elmhurst, Illinois and was a Ventura County resident for the past 68 years, coming from Illinois.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was a general manager at Northrop Aerospace for 30 years.
Jack was an avid UCLA fan, enjoyed bowling with friends at Buena Lanes, and was an active volunteer at the Ventura Avenue Adult Center. Jack and Norma would enjoy going fishing at Lake Casitas to see who would catch the largest fish. He also enjoyed spending time with his dogs Emmy and Molly.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 11 years, Norma Mildon; his daughters: Deanna De Soto and her husband Tom, of Ventura; and Cheryl Bucklin, of Ojai; his brother: Ron Mildon, of Rancho Cucmonga; his sister: Genevieve Reimann, of Illinois; his grandchildren: Jessica Shauer and Morgan Shauer; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street, Ventura.
