Thomas Cowen, age 70, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday September 7, 2017. He was the son of the late Alden B. and Hermina V. (Anselmo) Cowen. Thomas was a mechanic for various shops before retiring. In his spare time he enjoyed working on his brother’s race car for Seekonk Speedway with his brother.
Thomas is survived by his children; Wendy Eldridge, Randy, Thomas Jr. and Keith Cowen, siblings; Eileen Boucher, Geraldine and Linwood Cowen, grandchildren; Garrett, Nathan, Morgan, Kayla, Mason, and Danielle Cowen, Megan, Makenna, and Lucas Eldridge, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Cynthia Botelho, Alden Jr., Edward, David, Leonard and Lewis Cowen.
His funeral service will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 P.M.
