Shawn Thomas Gaw, 39, of Alexandria died at his residence after a sudden illness.
He was born, March 2, 1978 in Anderson the son of David and Lorrie (Gaw) Sutton. He loved carving pumpkins and music.
He is survived by his grandparents, William "Tom" and Madonna "Kay" Gaw with whom he lived, his parents and a sister, Haley Sutton, two aunts, Kandi (Ron) Goodman and Angela Varner, two cousins, Marissa Varner and Heather Goodman.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Carlie Gaw, Donald and Ina Earhart and Martha Lee.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
