WILCH - Norma Anne Wilch, 90, passed away September 1, 2017 at her Amelia Island residence.
She was born May 21, 1927 in Pasadena, CA and moved to Amelia Island in 1992 from Middleton, OH.
She was a Member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She service communion to the homebound and to the residents of Osprey Village. Mrs. Wilch was a teacher at St. Michael's Academy. She also volunteered at the Nassau County Humane Society Second Chance Consignment store.
She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Marion Paul Wilch, Jr.; her parents, William and Anna Davis Manning and a sister, Marguerite Amole.
Survivors include two sons, Michael W. Wilch (Elisabeth) of Sevierville, TN and Timothy J. Wilch of Fernandina Beach, FL; a granddaughter, Alexandra Wilch of Cincinnati, OH; two nieces, Diane Hagerich (Brian) and Ann Anders (James); and a brother in law, James Amole.
A Memorial Mass to celebrate her life will be held in January at a time and date to be announced later.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Michael's Academy.
