Yvette N. Kowal, age 92, passed away on Sept. 4, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicopee on July 22, 1925 to the late Albert and Alice (Briand) Beaulieu. She worked at Eastern Etching before retiring. She leaves her two sons Robert Kowal and his wife Yong of Loganville, GA and David Kowal of Chicopee; three grandchildren Michael Kowal and his wife Elizabeth of Granby CT, Holly Hennessey and her husband Michael of Southbury CT, Linda Kowal of Torrington CT, and five great grandchildren Kayleigh, Brandon, Hayley, Caiden and Casey. She also leaves her beloved dog Crystal. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years Walter Kowal who passed away in 2014 and her sister Rita Szlachetka who passed away in 1989. A lifelong resident of Chicopee, she was a communicant of Holy Name Parish. Her strong faith in Jesus Christ provided a lifetime of blessings throughout many trials, yet she professed and rejoiced in her Savior to her last breath, knowing that her eternity in Heaven is secure! Funeral Services will be held on Thurs, Sept. 7, 2016 at 9 AM from the Grise Funeral Home followed by a funeral home prayer service at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St Stanislaus Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Thurs, Sept. 7, 2016 from 9 to 10 AM.
