Anna J. “Nonie” D’Amico (Spinale) age 90 of Canton passed away suddenly September 3rd. Born in Boston, she was raised in the West End of Boston and previously lived in Malden before moving to Canton in 1980. She was a devoted wife and mother and at a young age worked as a seamstress in Boston. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking for her family and cleaning her house. Beloved wife of the late Antonio A. Mother of Antonette M. Baker and her husband James of Canton and Anthony J. D’Amico and his wife Jane of Wrentham. Grandmother of Valerie A. & Kristina M. Baker, Nicholas A., Andrew C., Zachary P. and Luke D. D’Amico. Sister of Elvira Misuraca of Revere, Marie Doherty of Middleton, Carmela Spinale of Peabody and the late Josephine Battle, Joseph and Richard Spinale. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Thursday morning at 10. Burial St. Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Assn at www.alzfdn.org.
