Mary F. (Kulakusky) Mitchell, 71, of Sutton died peacefully on Wednesday August 30, 2017 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 47 years, Robert E. Mitchell, a sister, Margaret “Peggy” Elie and her husband Ed of Auburn; two nieces, Nicole Manning and Jean Marie Martin, two special cousins, Lori Susienka and Melisa Gates. Mary was born in Worcester a daughter of the late Charles R. and Frances E. (Paulauskas) Kulakusky and has lived in Sutton since 1970. Mary graduated from the former St. Casimir Grammar School, Worcester and was a 1964 graduate of the former Ascension High School, Worcester.
Mary was a medical billing clerk for Comprehensive Healthcare Management and retired in 2002. She had also worked for Cardiology Associates & Dr. Daniel Miller and before that worked for Hahnemann Hospital and State Mutual Life Assurance Co.
Mary was a member of St. John’s Church, Worcester. She loved fine dining, watching sports and traveling. Her favorite destination was Bermuda. For those of you who knew her she gave you a “SMILE”. Special thanks to the caring staff members at UMASS Memorial, Rose Monahan and VNA for the comfort and care given to Mary.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday September 6, 2017 from HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. John Church, 40 Temple St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday September 6, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
