Mrs. Agnes L. (Denis) Kuczewski, of Taunton, entered into rest Tuesday, August 29 at her residence following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Thaddeus Kuczewski. She was born 84 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Camille and Lauretta (Begnoche) Denis. Agnes was educated in Taunton and was a graduate of Bridgewater State College. She was a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an elementary school teacher for the City of Taunton School System. She enjoyed dining out with a good glass of wine.
In addition to her husband, she leaves: 3 sons: Marc Kuczewski and his wife, Michelle of Windham, ME., Kevin Kuczewski and Gary Kuczewski, both of Taunton; 2 daughters: Kathryn Gutierrez and her husband, Anthony of Jamison, PA., and Lisa Sullivan and her husband, Gregory of Raynham; 2 brothers: Philippe Denis of MD., and Alfred Denis of Taunton; 1 sister: Lucille Castonguay of Taunton; 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Saturday, September 2 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
