Laura Ruth Strohauer, 56, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, August 20, 2017, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Bethlehem Cemetery, in Ben Hill County, Georgia.
Mrs. Strohauer was born September 27, 1960 to the late John Wesley Abt, Jr. & Laura Anne Hart Abt. She lived in the community most of her life and served her country in the United States Air Force. Mrs. Strohauer received a welding degree from Wiregrass Georgia Technical College and also was a waitress with the Waffle House.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Charlie Strohauer; a brother, Michael Allen Abt of Dickson, Tennessee and a sister, Paula Elaine Dressler of Hoschton.
