Maria E. Camilo

TEWKSBURY: Maria E. (Viveiros) Camilo, age 87, a resident of Tewksbury for 39 years, passed away at the Westford House on Sunday, August 20, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of Ernesto Camilo, who passed away on January 11, 2008.
Born in St. Michael, Azores on July 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John and Flavia Viveiros.
In 1953, she came to the United States alone to facilitate a new life for her family back in Portugal.
Maria enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Marie F. Wade and her husband John of Tewksbury, Steven V. Camilo and his wife Kelley of Charlotte, NC, Joseph V. Camilo and his wife Tracey of Tewksbury; grandchildren, John, David, Matthew, Michael, Jamie, Taylor, Ashley, and Joey. She also leaves 2 sisters, 1 brother, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Maria was the mother of the late Carmen Seagren.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Aug. 23, from 9-11 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
