FALL RIVER – Rose (Brito) Skomro, age 77 of Fall River, passed away on Thursday Aug. 17, 2017 at St. Anne’s hospital after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Manuel & Mary (Santos) Brito. Prior to retiring, Rose worked as a Nurse’s Aide for the Cliff Nursing Homes.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Thomas (husband Francis) of Lawrence, MA, and her siblings, Jose Brito, Filomena Mullarky, Vina Clark, & Anna Pereira all of Fall River.
Rose’s family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Steward Hospice and the Staff on the St. Catherine’s Unit at St. Anne’s Hospital for the care and comfort that was given to Rose.
Following cremation, a visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017 from 12:00-12:30 P.M. followed by a Memorial Service at 12:30 in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA. www.rogersfuneral.com.
