McLaughlin Cornelius J. “Connie” of Scituate and Lauderdale By The Sea, FL., formerly of West Roxbury, passed away on August 16, 2017. Beloved husband of Helene (Bleiler) McLaughlin. Devoted father of Neil McLaughlin and his wife Cathy of South Weymouth, Susan Snyder of Foxboro, and Sandy McLaughlin and her wife Joan Regensburger of Foxboro. Loving grandfather of Ashley and Zachary Snyder and Cassandra, Brian, Scott, and Sarah Corey. Brother of Junnie, Butchy, Larry, and Billy McLaughlin and the late Whitey McLaughlin and Mary Moran. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Korea War Veteran, U.S. Army. Longtime employee of U.S. Postal Service. Member of the Elks Lodge, Weymouth and Lauderdale, FL. Connie was an avid boater, fisherman and loved the beach.
Visiting hours will be held in the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Friday, August 18th from 4-7pm. Followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 7pm. Interment private.
