Marion R. (Teachman) Hubbard, 84, of New Bedford passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility. Born in Dartmouth, daughter of the late Harry and Rose (Moniz) Teachman, she was a longtime New Bedford resident.
Prior to retirement, she was a medical secretary. An avid reader, she was a member of a book club and she also loved playing bingo. Mrs. Hubbard will always be remembered as a spitfire.
Survivors include her 2 sons: Earl F. Hubbard, Jr. and his wife Lucy of New Bedford and Ronnie L. Hubbard, Sr. and his fiancée Sheila Roberts of Plainville; a brother: Harry Teachman, Jr. of Dartmouth; 3 sisters: Dorothy Medeiros of New Bedford, Nancy Vieira of New Bedford, and Shirley Brophy of Beverly, MA; a grandson: Ronnie L. Hubbard; a great grandson: Lucas J. Hubbard; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held.
