Mrs. Susanne M. (Riendeau) Dunn, of Taunton, entered into rest unexpectedly Tuesday, August 15 at Morton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of George M. Dunn. She was born 73 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Alphonse and Helen (Goslin) Riendeau. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, Susanne had been employed as a waitress for several area restaurants for many years. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Taunton.
In addition to her husband, she leaves: 1 son: George M. Dunn, Jr. and his wife, Alice of Taunton; 1 daughter: Dorene Dunn and her companion, Heather Hubbard of Fall River; 2 brothers: Richard A. Riendeau of Taunton, and Wayne M. Riendeau of Kissimmee, Fla.; 1 sister: Diane Berthao of Raynham; 2 grandchildren: Cory and Cameron Dunn, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Kenneth A. and Daniel D. Riendeau.
Visiting Hours will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Sunday, August 27, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will follow the Visiting Hours, Sunday, at 7:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
