Judith Assé (58) of Brockton died August 15th in the Mass General Hospital Boston.
She was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti daughter of the late Abelard Assé and Mireille (Deronville) Assé of Brockton. Judith was a social worker for the Justice Resource Institute in Boston. She was a active member of the L'Eglise Adventiste de Brockton Church, Church secretary also youth and education director. She also loved to sing, mentor, translate and was active in volunteering herself to the Haitian community.
In addition to her mother she is survived by 3 sons, Elijah, Issa and Joshua Romulus all of Brockton, a daughter Frania Romulus of Brockton, 2 brothers, Rainer and Fontnell Assé both of Brockton also her former husband Rodney Romulus.
Funeral Service will be held in the L'Eglise Adventiste de Brockton Church, 237 Court Street Brockton Friday August 25th at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation in the Church from 9 am prior to services.
