Adalberto (Al) Fontes (62) of Brockton died August 13th in the Lahey Clinic, Burlington.
He was born in Santa Catarina, Fogo, Cabo Verde son of the late Francisco and Guilheirmina (Lopes) Fontes. Al worked in production in a local mattress factory. He enjoyed socializing with family and friends and was known as a good and humble man.
He is survived by many brothers and sisters in Cabo Verde and also his cousin Paul Lopes of Randolph.
Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday August 19th at 8 am followed by a Portuguese Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church 54 Lyman Street Brockton at 9 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation Friday August 18th from 5-9 pm.
