Laconia-----Leslie A. DuBois 76, of Academy Street, Died Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Belknap Country Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
Leslie was born May 30, 1941 in Laconia, NH daughter to the late Charles and Kathryn (Gendron) Sanderson. She was a 1959 graduate of Laconia High School. She worked for First National in Laconia for 15 years before becoming Co-Owner of Laconia Monument with her Husband, Robert in 1967.
Leslie loved the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing and hunting with her husband. They took trips over the years to Canada, Florida and even the Great Lakes to hunt and fish. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Leslie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert "Bob" DuBois; her daughter, Lisa A. Shaw of Belmont; three grandchildren, Ian Shaw, Kaitlyn Shaw and Colin Shaw all of Belmont; a sister, Elsa Beauchain of Maine and a niece, Linde Twombly of California. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her son, Gregg DuBois and her sister, Joanna Twombly.
There will be no calling hours or funeral.
Burial will be private in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.
