Viola M. (Genereux) Osborne, 95, of New Bedford died Thursday August 10, 2017. She was the wife of the late James B. Osborne and the late Clifford Crowley.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Eugene and Dora (Dion) Genereux, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
Mrs. Osborne was formerly employed by Cornell-Dubilier Electronics Corp. until her retirement.
She was a member of the St. James Senior Citizens.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Aurora Almeida, Eugene, Arthur, Henry, Armand, Napoleon, and Albert Genereux.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday August 14, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Julie Billiart Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford prior to the Mass.
