WORCESTER-John Matimu Muhia, 46, died Friday, August 4, 2017. He was born in Kiambu, Kenya, the son of Jane Njeri Muhia and the late Paul Muhia. John is the father to Njeri Matimu, Paul Muhia Matimu, Anthony Njuiri Matimu, Edwini Mwamiki Matimu and Nduta Matimu, all of Worcester. He also leaves his siblings; Gladys Wanja Muhia of Worcester, Peter Mwaniki Muhia of WA; Daniel Mungai Muhia of WA, Samuel Njoruge Muhia of Nairobi, Kenya.
John worked at Worcester Skilled Nursing in Worcester. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 16th at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street, Worcester. Please go directly to church, there is no viewing at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
