STANDISH- Christine Marie Hall, 72, of Standish passed away August 9th in Portland. She was born August 8th, 1945 in Cambridge to Joseph and Catherine (Goulding) Boyle of Boston. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Stanley Hall; her daughters Chris Hall, Sandy Hall Winn and her husband Kelly, Carolyn Hall Kraft and her husband Rory; and son Matt Hall and his wife Holly; her grandchildren Kaitlyn Winn, Haley Hall, Sadie Kraft, Hannah Hall, Josie Kraft, and Samuel Hall; her sisters Dorothy O’Reilly, Patricia Gray, and Pauline Flynn; and brother John Boyle. She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings. She was a long time member of Standish's Planning Board and had an enjoyable career with the Portland Public Library. Christine was an avid reader. She loved to knit, travel, and cheer on the Red Sox.
Visitation will be on Sunday Aug. 13, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home with interment to follow at Eastern Cemetery in Gorham. A reception will be held at the Masonic Hall in Buxton.
