CRAWFORD, Eva Jewell (Simpson), 82, of Louisville, passed away Monday, August 07, 2017.
She was a native of Grayson County and a member of Faith Chapel General Baptist.
Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. Crawford; daughter, Eva Jo Hartlage; and parents, William and Lucille Simpson.
She is survived by her children, Dwight W. Crawford (Jeannie), Paul D. Crawford (Gail), Judy Wynn (Leo), Mary Powers (Larry), and Helen M. Crawford (Mike); son-in-law, Tony Hartlage; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brothers, Charlie Simpson (Georgia), Kenny Simpson (Elvera), and W.B. Simpson (Helen); sisters, Mae Renfo (J.W.), Phyllis Mudd (Ronnie), and Linda Ford (Walter).
Visitation will be Thursday 2-8pm and Friday 9am-11am follwed by the service at 11am Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Burial in Layman Cemetery, Grayson County, Kentucky.
