LIMINGTON- William Everett Pierce, age 69, passed away on Aug. 8, 2017 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland.
He was born in Westbrook on June 24, 1948, a son of the late Everett Pierce and Beatrix (Larrivee) Mulkern and graduated Westbrook High School in 1967.
William worked at the South Portland Motor Inn which became Day's Inn for many years. He began working in maintenance and worked his way up to a manager position and retired two years ago. He also worked for Sebago Inc., for sixteen years.
He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and was an avid NASCAR fan with his favorite driver being Jimmy Johnson.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years- Rosina (Fougere) Pierce; son- Jason Pierce and his wife Holly of Limington; brother- Jeffrey Pierce and his wife Leslee of Saco; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
A celebration of William's life will be held on Sunday August 20 from 1 – 4 PM at William and Rosina's home, 97 July St., in Limington.
