Marie E. (Costa) Cabeceiras, age 71 of Somerset passed away August 8, 2017. She was the wife of John A. Cabeceiras and daughter of the late Joseph and Helena (Oliveira) Costa. Marie had worked as a nurse’s aide at the Truesdale Clinic. She was a member of the Holy Ghost Society and a parishioner of St. John of God Church.
Marie was the mother of John Cabeceiras III (wife Maria) of N. Attleboro and Linda M. Medeiros (husband Jason) of Somerset. She was the sister of Major Joseph Costa (wife Suzy) of Alexandria, VA, Gabriela Moniz (husband George) and Steven Costa of Somerset. She was the grandmother of Grace E. Cabeceiras. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Saturday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Friday 4-8 P.M.
