Leo Barboza, age 83, of Somerset, passed away on August 8, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Agnes Marie (Rocha) Barboza and son of the late Francisco and Marianna (Medeiros) Barboza. Leo was a warehouse manager for Key Boston, and a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, the parish choir, a teacher for Life Teen, a Eucharistic Minister, and committee chair of the Lawn Party at St. John of God Parish.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; Linda Trudeau (husband David) of Swansea, Leo Paul Barboza (wife Susan) of Swansea, Cathy Sousa (husband Alvaro) of Rehoboth, Steven Barboza (wife Deborah) of Somerset, Lori Ann Barboza of Somerset, and Jonathan Barboza (fiancé Amanda) of Assonet, brothers; Edward and John Barboza of Fall River, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Henry, Arthur, and Frank Barboza.
His funeral arrangements are under the direction of Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will take place on Friday at St. John of God Church at 10:30 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset.
