Robert C. LaRose passed away on August 6, 2017. He was 78 years old.
Robert was a longtime resident of Somerville and a tradesman and carpenter for many years. He was United States Navy Veteran during the Vietnam Era and a past member of the American Legion Post 19 in Somerville.
Robert was the beloved husband of Barbara M. (Arico) LaRose. He was the son of the late Maitland and Barbara (Canavon)) LaRose. Robert was the loving father of Anthony LaRose, Robert LaRose Jr., both of Somerville, Alan LaRose and his fiancé Lisa Matheson of Billerica, Joseph LaRose and his wife Sheila of Litchfield, NH, Mark LaRose, and Charles LaRose both of Somerville. He was the dear brother of David LaRose, Judy Gurich, Gail Codair, Barbie Mahoney, and the late Richard, Barry, and Paul LaRose. Robert was the cherished grandfather of Brandi LaRose, Amanda Morin, Rael LaRose, Lanae Caruso, J.J. and Delaney LaRose, Harleigh LaRose, and Jennifer Andrade, and Great grandfather of Sean Lynch III, Eric Gannaway, and Juliana Andrade.
A funeral service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday August 11th at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8pm.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
