Mr. Stanley W. Sousa, Jr. of Taunton, entered into rest unexpectedly Sunday, August 6 at his residence following a period of failing health. He was the beloved son of Stanley W. and Lorraine M. (Neto) Sousa, Sr. He was born 54 years ago in Taunton, and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his illness, he had been employed as a Foreman for the Tweave Company, Attleboro, for 24 years. He was previously employed at the former Taunton Sportswear for several years. Stanley enjoyed working on cars, reading, and spending time with his family. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Taunton.
In addition to his parents, of Taunton, he leaves: 2 brothers: Paul A. Sousa and his wife, Sherry, of Rehoboth, and Andrew J. Sousa of Taunton, and 2 nephews: Aaron P. and Alec R. Sousa.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Thursday, August 10 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
