Maria T Cook, age 47, of Rockland, formerly of Norwell, passed away peacefully on August 4th after a 10 year courageous battle with cancer. Born, raised and educated in Norwell she was a graduate of Norwell High School and Bridgewater State College and a late longtime I.T. Quality Assurance Professional for Dunkin Brands, Canton. The beloved daughter of Anne M. (Duggan) of Norwell and the late Thomas C. Cook, she is also survived by her brother, Thomas C. Cook of Norwell. Maria had a large extended family and many dear friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Helen Church, 393 Washington St., Norwell, Tuesday at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Monday 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be in Stetson Meadows Cemetery, Norwell.
