Ross Edward Warner, Jr., 69, loving husband of Virginia Ann Warner, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel with Rev. Dusty Wammack officiating.
Ross served in the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm and retired after 20 years of service. During that time he began a career with the Army Corps of Engineers, where he retired after 36 years. Ross was not afraid to work and thoroughly enjoyed his job. He also enjoyed working on cars, taking trips to the lake, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his son; Jeffery David Warner of NC, three daughters; Jennifer Ann Warner of SC, Cindy Marie Billingsley (Jamie) of NC, Casey Rose Warner of GA, brother; Dwayne Warner of CA, 17 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
