Rev. Patricia A. Ketzler, 80, of Salisbury, MA, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Brigham Health and Rehabilitation Center in Newburyport, MA.
Pat was born in Methuen, MA and was raised and educated in Lawrence, MA. She married the love of her life, Donald H. Ketzler, and raised her four children, before going back to school to UMass to earn her Bachelor’s Degree. She then went on to attend Andover-Newton Theological School where she earned her Master’s Degree. Patricia became an ordained pastor shortly thereafter and worked for a time at churches in both Hampstead, NH and Northwood, NH. While working as a pastor she trained to become a counselor at the Pastoral Counseling Center in Manchester, NH, where she has worked until recently.
In her free time Patricia enjoyed travelling, taking numerous cruises, and vacationing in Florida. She most loved her family, including her beloved dog “Tori,” and she will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Patricia leaves her beloved husband, Donald H. Ketzler, of Salisbury, MA; her four children, Lisa Verrette, and her husband, Keith, of Andover, MA, Eric Ketzler and his wife, Faye, of Atkinson, NH, Mark Ketzler of Vietnam and D. Steven Ketzler of Livermore, CA; 10 grandchildren, Zackery, Tyler, Kerri, Eric II, Alanda, Ian, David, Remy, Justin and Courtney; a great-grandson, Hugo; and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Fancy Ketzler.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, August, 1, 2017 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence, St., Methuen, MA. A memorial service will follow at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
