WORCESTER__Jan Konopka, 72, of Worcester died Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in his home. He is survived by his son, Anthony Konopka with whom he lived; sister, Boleslawa Dabrowski of New Britain, CT; sister in law, Stanislawa Konopka of Worcester; nieces and nephews. He was born in Jaki, Poland a son of Boleslaw and Zofia ( Jaczynska) Konopka.
Mr. Konopka immigrated to the United States in 1980 and worked for Continental Baking Company prior to retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Jan enjoyed growing vegetables, keeping his garden and spending time with his friends and family.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St, Worcester with a Mass at 11:30 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
