Obituary

Steven was a great guy, he cared for others more than himself. I could write a book about his virtues, his courage, and the love he showed to the people around him. He loved to play video games, and when he lost the use of his hands, due to his Muscular Dystrophy, he loved to watch others play. He was a History buff, especially WW11, he was very patriotic, and loved his country, and the men and women who defended it, and could not understand anyone who did not. He loved animals, and one of his favorite shows was Pit Bulls and Parolees, because he was a strong believer in second chances. Although toward the end of his life he was in great pain, and could not do the simple things we all take for granted, he didn't complain, or use foul language (His Papa says, he would have been swearing every day) . He was devoted to his mother as she was to him, and their special relationship was beautiful to watch. He got to spend time with his brothers, and though it was short, he enjoyed it completely, and was happier than I had seen him in a long time, and was so glad to have them back in his life. He was a wonderful person , and it was an honor to know him, he was on this earth for a short time, but the gifts he gave of honesty, love, courage, and integrity, will last forever. We shall miss him forever, and never forget him.

Steven passed away on early Monday morning, on 7/24/2017, he is survived by his Mother Heather Mickevich, Papa Joseph Mickevich, Nana Helen Mickevich, his Father Robert Martin, his three brothers Bobby, Mark, and Nathan Martin , His Grandmother Mary McKunes, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
