Helen Milligan Dunn, 77, of Fitzgerald, died, Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held, 4PM, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dan Hayes and the Rev. Dr. Brent Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dunn was born November 23, 1939, in Fitzgerald, Georgia to the late Raymond and Louise White Milligan. Mrs. Dunn was a secretary for the Magistrate Court in Ben Hill County. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church and was also involved in the Church of the Nazarene in Fitzgerald. She enjoyed attending all of her grandson’s ballgames. She loved spending time with family and enjoyed her retirement years shopping with her sisters.
She is survived by a son, Jeff & Traci Morgan of Fitzgerald; one grandson, Jeremy Morgan of Tifton; siblings: Dick Milligan of Fitzgerald, Jack Milligan of Fitzgerald, Betty & George Martin of Fitzgerald, and Barbara & Allen Gravitt of Tifton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Dunn, Jr., a sister, Martha Louise Latham, and one brother, Charles Milligan.
