COLANTUONI John J. Sr. “Papa” of Westwood formerly of Dedham, July 22, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Pauline (Dacey) Colantuoni. Devoted father of John J. Colantuoni Jr. of Westwood and Paul J. Colantuoni and his wife Karen of Westwood. Loving grandfather of Nicholas, Michael, Jenna, Joseph, and Steven. John was the last survived of 11 brothers and sisters.
Retired owner of Johnny’s Auto and Oil of Dedham. WWII Veteran, US Army Air Force. Past commander of the Dedham American Legion Post 18. Member of the Jacob Jones VFW Post 2017, Dedham Italian American Citizens Club, the Dedham Retired Men’s Club, and the Endicott Dedham Greenhouse.
The Colantuoni family would like to thank the Brockton VA Hospice for the care and love they gave to our father.
A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. DEDHAM on Wednesday, July 26th from 9:00am - 10:45am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
