Helen A. Szandrocha age 84 passed away on July 21, 2017 after a courageous battle with heart disease. She resided for many years in New Britain where she raised her family and worked at St Thomas Aquinas High School as the secretary. She then moved to Bloomfield, Ct to the house of her dreams and continued to work for the archdiocese of Hartford at various parishes. In 2010, she moved to Marshfield Ma to be closer to her beloved family.
Helen is survived by her loving husband John, married for sixty seven years. She is also survived by her daughters Sandra Bardas of Menlo Park, CA, Shawn Grunwald and husband Kevin of Truro, Ma, and Tracey and husband Charles Shepherd of Kingston, MA; sons Douglas and wife Wendy of Horsham, PA and Damian of Spokane, WA. She is also survived by seven wonderful Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at St Christine's Catholic Church Marshfield, MA on Thursday July 27, 2017 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers a donation of the donor's choice in Helen's name.
