OSSIPEE, NH- John W. Hardie III, age 69, of Ossipee, NH and formerly of Wolfeboro, NH, passed away on Thursday July 20, 2017 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.
He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Holubiak) Hardie. He was born in Wolfeboro, NH in 1948, John was the son of the late John W. Hardie Jr. and Jane (Morris) Hardie.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his two children, four step children, and eight grandchildren.
John was a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont and a veteran of the US Army. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed traveling.
A small family memorial will be held at a later date.
