Gary S. Sevigny, 57, of Bullocks Point Avenue, Riverside, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of Leslie J. (Plant) Sevigny. They celebrated three years of marriage on June 21st.
Born in Massachusetts, he was a son of the late George and Mildred (Boudria) Sevigny. He had most recently lived in Riverside. He was a District Manager for Janco, Inc. in Cranston, Rhode Island, covering parts of Connecticut. He had attended Somerset High School, studied pipe fitting at General Dynamics and he worked at Burger King for over thirty-five years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Kortney, Krystal and Patricia Sevigny and Devon McGowan, as well as his step-sons, Cory, Jason and Kyle Voyer. He is also survived by his sisters, Jo-Ann Medeiros and her husband Robert of Somerset, Massachusetts, Cheryl Ann O’Driscoll and her husband, Alan of Palm Bay, Florida and Nancy Charron and her fiancé, Michael Hamelton of Canton, Massachusetts, as well as his two nieces and his two great nephews.
His funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at noon in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation will be Monday 10-12. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
