Gladys S. (Lebudzinski) Markiewicz, 95, passed away, Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton.
Her husband, Walter J. Markiewicz died July 8, 2012.
She leaves a sister, Celia Lebudzinski of Charlton and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Gladys was born in Webster, a daughter of Alexander and Phyllis (Bierdzio) Lebudzinski and lived in Webster all her life.
She graduated from St. Joseph Grammar School, Bartlett High School, and loved to travel and play the organ. Gladys was also a member of St. Joseph ‘s Basilica.
She worked for many years at the former Cranston Print Works Co. in Webster, as a fabric inspector, before retiring.
At her request, there are no calling hours.
The Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. (please meet at the church), burial will follow at St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery.
