Evelyn I. (Westgate) Westgate, 85, of Freetown, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 with her family by her side. She was wife of the late Milton S. Westgate, Sr.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Chester L. and Alice E. (Pittsley) Westgate, she was a lifelong resident of Freetown. Prior to retirement, she was a nursing home dietician. Mrs. Westgate attended New Life Pentecostal Church in Acushnet and was a member of the Berkley Women's Auxiliary - American Legion. She enjoyed going to Foxwoods, playing bingo and crocheting, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed
Survivors include her children: Milton S. Westgate, Jr. and his wife Barbara, Cheryl A. Oliveira and her husband Rick, Chet L. Westgate and his wife Pat, David P. Westgate and his wife Donna, Alfred M. Westgate and his wife Pat and Donna L. Cabral and her husband Tony; her siblings: Violet, Barb, Pat, Judy and David; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours Friday 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment in Chace Cemetery, Freetown.
