Obituary



Olga Domond age 95 of Brockton died Saturday July 15, 2017 at her home after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Alexandre Domond for 64 years. Olga was born and raised in Port au Prince, Haiti a daughter of the late Vergniaud and Laure (Perin) Moliere and had lived in Brockton for the past 24 years.
Olga attended college in Haiti after her high school graduation. She had been a secretary for the Haitian Department of the Interior.
A talented seamstress, Olga also enjoyed shopping. She loved music, dance and prayer. Olga will be remembered as a very cheerful lady who would give and share with others whatever she had. She was especially proud of her children and grandchildren.

Olga was the mother of Elsie Thornton and her husband Otis of Brockton, Alex Domond and his wife Ketty of California, Ronald Domond of Cambridge and Charles Kavanaugh of Cambridge. She leaves many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Weber Moliere of Orland, FL and Ernst Moliere and his wife Lavone of Somerville.

Visiting hours will be held in the Brockton Haitian Church 940 Main Street, Brockton on Friday July 21, 2017 from 8:30 to 10am followed by a Service in the church at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
