Isabel Malacate Lara, 64, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A private service and burial will be held for Mrs. Lara at a later date.
Born October 18, 1952 in Chilapa Del Alvares, Guerrero, Mrs. Lara was the daughter of Artemio Malacate and the late Juana Lara. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Baldomero Santos. She was a member of Our Divine Savior Catholic Church in Tifton. She was employed at the packing house in Ty Ty.
Mrs. Lara is survived by four sons, Jose Alfredo Santos, Andres Santos, Alfonso Santos and Javier Malacate; two daughters, Julia Santos and Silvia Orelia Santos; one brother, Artemio Malacate; two sisters, Paula Lara and Dorotea Malacate; and seven grandchildren.
