Chambers, Chelsey, 87, was called home July 17, 2017 in Louisville, with his family by his side.
He was born to Bill and Minnie (Shipley) Chambers September 20, 1929 in Albany, KY.
Chelsey worked for Marley Cooling Towers, retiring in 1994. He was a Mason at Lodge #633, a Shriner, and belonged to the Scottish Rite in Louisville.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Titus); son, Jeff Chambers; brother, Hollis Chambers; and a sister, Cohain C. Beeman.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Greg Chambers; and Melissa Saltkill (Tony); grandchildren, Tabatha, Kyle, and Kayla Taylor, Megan Chambers, and Cameron Saltkill; a sister, Elsie Woodworth; sister-in-law, JoAnn Chambers; a special friend, Lisa Embry; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday 1:00 PM at Talbott Funeral Home, 1106 N. Cross St. Albany, KY 42602.
Burial is in Albany Cemetery next to the Funeral Home.
Visitation is Friday 4:00-8:00PM at Talbott’s, and Thursday 1:00-8:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
