Obituary

Louis N. Gullo, 91, of New Fairfield, CT and recently Franklin, MA, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2017 at Arden Court Assisted Living Facility in Tampa, FL.
He was the devoted husband of the late Theresa A. (Belec), celebrating over 51 years of marriage at the time of her passing.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Joseph and Marie Gullo, Louis was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army Air Corp and U.S Air Force. His love of people and business lead him to a 37-year career with Sears, Roebuck and Company where he had positions as an Automotive Department Manager, Hardline Merchandise Manager and Assistant Store Manager in Bronx, NY, White Plains NY and Stamford, CT.

He was a very devoted father to his five children. Weekends and summer vacations were dedicated to road trips to visit family and enjoy the New England landscape he so loved. As an accomplished photographer, he has years of memories he has preserved for his children.

Louis leaves his adoring children Louis Gullo and spouse Diane of Tucson AZ, Lorraine Gullo-Janette of New Braunfels TX, Roger Gullo and spouse Janice of Franklin MA, Jocelyn Segal and spouse Brad of Tampa FL, and Valerie Claussen and spouse Dale of Green Cove Springs FL; 12 beloved grandchildren, Louis, Stephanie, Catherine, Christina, Nicholas, Samantha, Christopher, Cameron, Justin, Jessica, Marissa, and Nicole; 2 great grandchildren Matthew and Michael; and many loving nieces and nephews, notability his Nephew Joe that he so adored.

He is predeceased by his dearly departed brother Vincent, sister Palma, and brother Joseph.

A special thank you to the blessed caregivers of Arden Court Assisted Living Facility in Tampa, FL, whom allowed Louis to enjoy his time with family and friends up to the moment the Lord called him home.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, July 22, 10 am, at St. Mary's Church, Church Square, Franklin, MA followed by a Catholic burial at St. Mary's Cemetery located on Beaver Street in Franklin where Louis will be laid to rest next to his eternal bride Terry.
