Obituary

Maureen M. Mann, 69, of Woonsocket passed away Sunday July 16, 2017 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Providence.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Rita (L’Esperance) Mann.
Maureen was a graduate of St. Clare High School Class of 1965.
She was employed at Enterprise Dye Works in Fairmount and the YWCA of Northern Rhode Island. She retired in 2010 from the Woonsocket Education Department after 36 years of service as a secretary at Woonsocket Junior High/Middle School.
Maureen was a longtime active communicant of Precious Blood Parish volunteering countless hours for many aspects of parish life.
Maureen will be remembered as a loving person who was devoted to her faith and family.
She is survived by her siblings Pamela Sherman and her husband David of Matunuck, Donna Lambert and her partner Robert Picard, Kathleen Portman and her husband Barry and Mell Mann and his wife Wendy all of Woonsocket. She is also survived by 13 loving nieces and nephews, 6 grandnieces and nephews and her beloved aunt Vivian Allaire. She was the sister of the late Christine Mann.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 am in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Franciscan Apostolic Sisters c/o Sr. Lourdes de Leon 66 Fifth Ave. East Greenwich, RI. 02818. Arrangements are by the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
