WILLIAM P. “BILL” WEICHERT, 89, passed away July 15, 2017.
He was a retired employee of International Harvester, an Army veteran of WW II, and a member of Arcade Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death was his first wife, Calma (Janes) Weichert.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Eva (Miller) Weichert, his children, Larry Weichert and Sharon (Weichert) Surma; stepchildren, Kay Estes, Gary Kasey (Vicky) and Cindy Daugherty (Rob); grandchildren, Melissa Levin (Roi), Aaron, Steven and Kevin (Lina) Leach and Jay Surma (Gemma); 10 step grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
