Gloria C. Budrick passed away peacefully at home in the company of her loving family. She was 95. Gloria was raised in Somerville, the daughter of the late Fiore J. and Josephine (Frasca) Troisi. Gloria graduated from Bentley College. She worked as a waitress at the famed Stueben’s restaurant and nightclub in Boston and was the business manager and accountant for many years at the former Groeshler and Sheyer Steel fabrication and Construction Company in Cambridge. She rounded out her career working as a teacher’s aide in the Dennis-Yarmouth school system. An independent and wise woman, Gloria lived in Florida when she and Bud were first married. They enjoyed life on Cape Cod and in North Reading. She was a life-long Red Sox fan and loved to attend “Ladies Day” on Fridays at Fenway Park. She was devoted to her family, enjoyed bingo with her friends, and was devoted to her parish, Our Lady of the Cape. As a young woman, she developed a love for the Cape and enjoyed time with her family at the beach, fishing and spending wonderful time on the ocean.
The beloved wife of the late Siegfried “Bud” Budrick, who passed away in 2013, she was a devoted mother of Susan M. Costa of Dennis and her late husband Ralph Costa, Jr. she was also a devoted step-mother to Richard J. Budrick of Salem, NH. She was a loving grandmother to Nicole C. Costa of Dennis, Damian R. Costa and his wife Erin of Norfolk, Susan Brunette and her husband Eric of Methuen, Ellen Mireles and her husband Rudy of Nashua, NH and she also leaves her beloved great-grandchildren: Hailey, Rachel, Mia, Colin, Sam, Noah, RJ, and Georgia.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, July 18th from 5 – 9 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Cape Church, 468 Stony Brook Road, Brewster, Wednesday at 11 AM . Relatives and friends are also respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
